Burnsville Graduate Is Selected By Washington In NFL Draft

Burnsville High School 2012 graduate Chase Roullier was picked in the sixth round, the 199th overall selection, in the 2017 National Football League Draft on April 29.

After a phenomenal four-year career at the University of Wyoming, the 6-foot-4 Rouiller will play center for the Washington football team. Roullier was also a three-time All-Mountain West Conference selection.

Rouiller was a three-year starter for the Blaze. He earned Associated Press All-State first-team honors as an offensive lineman his senior season and was voted the South Suburban Conference Lineman of the Year. Rouiller was also one of  25 finalists in the Minnesota’s Mr. Football award program.

“We are so proud of everything Chase has accomplished on and off the football field,” said Burnsville High School head football coach Tyler Krebs. “He is a tremendous student-athlete who graduated with a degree in engineering. He also is an outstanding role model and person. We’re excited to follow his career in the NFL.”

In this level of achievement, Rouiller joins 2011 Burnsville graduate C.J. Smith, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL.
